Food Safety & Hygiene
My premises have been inspected and approved by the Borough of Tamworth Environment and Regulatory Services Department and have been awarded the highest available Food Hygiene Rating of 5, in accordance with the Food Standards Agency.
I hold a current City and Guilds Level 2 Food Safety and Hygiene Catering certificate. I have also completed an e-learning course in the subject - Coronavirus Taking Proactive Action.

Allergen Information
Unfortunately, I am unable to cater for food allergies or intolerances at the moment due to the many different ingredients that are used in my kitchen.
My cakes are made with flour and baking powder containing cereals with gluten. Milk, baking spread and butter are also used in my cakes, as well as eggs. I always try to use free range eggs from a local farm shop if I can.
My buttercream fillings are made with real butter containing milk. A chocolate ganache coating is used to provide a firm base for most sugarpaste iced sponge cakes.
Some of my cake flavours/options contain nuts.
Nuts are used in my kitchen.
Many of the ingredients I use have been produced in a nut environment.
My fruit cakes are made with dried fruits which contain sulphur dioxide. My fruit cakes are covered in marzipan which is made from ground almonds.
Food colourings are used in my icing which contain various E numbers. These may have an adverse effect on activity and attention in children. Please ask if you require more information.
